  God of details, life is often busy, filled with expectations and commitments. In this busy schedule may we always be willing to answer Jesus’s call to perform the spiritual works of mercy: to counsel the doubtful, instruct the ignorant, admonish the sinner, comfort the sorrowful, forgive injuries, bear wrong patiently, and pray for the living and the dead. It is in taking time for others, in sharing our gifts and talents, that Your love and Your presence are made known to the world. May Your love inspire us to do all this in Your name.
