CẢM NGHIỆM TÌNH CHÚA YÊU TÔI - QUANG VŨ - REMAIN IN MY LOVE

“Remain in My Love” (Jn 15:9)

Living in fast-pace and competitive society, especially during pandemic time, feeling of being lonely and discouraged is an experience for almost everyone once for a while.

The Gospel of Saint John the Apostle for the entire last week including this 6th Sunday of Easter have given all readers a(n) inner joy and peace of heart of Jesus’ words of love and intimacy, “Remain in my Love.” (Jn 15:9).

The question whether I am remained in Jesus and how do I know that I am remain in His Love is repeatedly echoed in my heart. Despite of my intention through prayers and daily life activities to remain in Jesus and His love, I have often felt that I am alone and separated from God’s presence.

Through my prayers, reflection, reading and observation, The Holy Spirit has enlightened me in order for me to remain in God’s presence and love, I have to journey this life not with my own ego-self, but with God’s self in me.

My ego-self is the self of pride, selfishness, competition, cruelness and separateness. God-self in me is the self of love, union, compassion, understanding, listening and cooperation.

God calls me to realize God’s self in me and in others so that we all together can remain in God’s love and live in harmony although we are all diverse.
