     FOR WHAT WE HAVE FAILED TO DO

                                       A REFLECTION (Luke 16: 19-31)

    FOR WHAT WE HAVE FAILED TO DO: The rich man in today’s Gospel is condemned for his inactivity towards to the poor man. Lazarus was starving and covered in sores, but the rich man did nothing to help him. In the Penitential Act at Mass we ask forgiveness not only for the bad we have done but for the good we have failed to do.
