    A REFLECTION (John 6: 60 – 69)

    THE HOLY ONE OF GOD. It was very difficult for the Jewish people to accept Jesus’ teaching that they must eat his flesh and drink his blood if they are to have life. The Twelve accepted his teaching, not because they understood it but because they believed in him. Having seen his signs they believed that he was the Holy One of God. May Christ heal our unbelief that we too may accept his saving words even when we do not understand them fully.
