                                                I WANT TO SEE

     

    A REFLECTION (Mark 10: 46:52)

     

    I WANT TO SEE! In today’s Gospel only the blind man, Bartimaeus, can see who Jesus really is – the Messiah, the Son of David. To the others in the crowd he is only Jesus, the good man from Nazareth. At times it can be hard for us to see Christ in the midst of the sights and sounds of our world. May the Lord open our eyes to recognise him in the breaking of the bread and to see his footprints in our lives. Then, with Bartimaeus, may we joyfully follow him along the road.
