    A REFLECTION (Luke 10: 1-12, 17-20)

     

    PEACE TO THIS HOUSE. The book of the prophet Isaiah concludes with the promise that God will send peace flowing like a river on all the nations. Today’s Gospel reminds us that missionaries are always needed to bring this peace to others. May the peace of Christ dwell in our hearts. May the people we meet experience through us the peace referred to in the Jewish greeting, ‘Shalom! Peace be with you!’
