    Hi Deacon Dinh,

God is with us Emmanuel! On this final Sunday of the Advent Season we become more aware of the radical nature of the Incarnation. As the English poet T.S. Eliot declared, the incarnation is the “hint half guessed and the gift half understood.” Our preparations this year have brought all of us closer to that realization of the mystery of the divine infused into all of our humanity. That is what we are to behold again in a deeper and lasting way in the final days of Advent before we behold the birth of Christ again into the life of our world and in each community.

We invite you to walk the Advent journey to the light of Christ within and all about us! To help, we have Advent Reflection Guides based on the Sunday Gospels that can be used in a group or on your own. We also have Guides especially for families and children. Explore our website to see all our Advent Resources.

We are with you in our prayers this Advent,

Fr. Steve and the Maryknoll Mission Formation Projects Team

Help us O Lord to welcome Christ into our broken and divided world with renewed hope and promise more aware than ever of his enduring presence among a people who have “walked in darkness into the light of a new day”!
