                     OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN

     

    MORNING PRAYER (Monday 25 May 2020)

    Today we continue the theme of the end of Easter and the preparation for Pentecost, the birth of the Christian Church. When Jesus was with his disciples he talked about God, his Father. We are told that Jesus prayed often and called God ‘Abba’, which is our equivalent of ‘Daddy’ or ‘Dad’, so he obviously felt close to him.

    Prayer requires time and a quiet space where we can block out the noises and distractions of everyday life.

    Let us now take time out of our day to pray as Jesus taught us, by saying the Our Father together.
