Loving God, although I may not always show it, I am grateful – grateful for all that you may give me, my family, my health, my friends… everything. Help me to remember to show my thanks to the many important people in my life.

Lord, you are kind, your generosity overwhelms us. Thank you for the inner strength given in adversity, for the individual gifts given to us to share. We thank you for people who have patience and listening skills, and for those who have passed their wisdom and experience down from one generation to another.

O God, give me a spirit of fairness.

Get rid of all my mean thoughts

And make me able to see the rights of others.

It is so easy for me to jump to conclusions.

Help me to treat others

As I want them to treat me

And teach me to be fair to others.

When I say, “I am Christian”,

I’m not claiming to be perfect;

My flaws are to visible

But God believes I’m worth it.

       When I say,” I am Christian”,

       I’m not trying to be strong;

       I’m professing that I’m weak

       And pray for the strength to carry on.

When I say, “I am Christian”,

I do not wish to judge;

I have no authority

I only know I am loved.

       In Your time, Lord,

       Take the imperfect that is within me

       and create the person I could be
