           OASES ON THE JOURNEY
     

    A REFLECTION (Matthew 17: 1-9):

    OASES ON THE JOURNEY. As followers of Jesus, we have nowhere to pitch our tents. We must journey with Jesus through the hardships of life to glory. There will be oases along the way – moments of consolation which reveal the presence of God among us. We cannot remain in these moments for ever, but they give us refreshment. Remembering them will sustain us on our pilgrim way.
