Jesus and the Miraculous Catch o Fish

                                           (Luke 5: 1-11)

I AM A SINNER. In today’s Ccripture readings the prophet Isaiah, the apostle Paul, and the apostle Peter each acknowledges that he is a sinner: ‘I am a man of unclean lips,’ cries Isaiah; ‘I persecuted the Church of God,’ confesses Paul; ‘I am a sinful man,’ says Peter. They know their need of forgiveness but they are also aware of the power of God at work in them. We to o are sinners, but if we have faith in the grace of God working within us, we can be great missionaries as well.
