    A REFLECTION (Luke 9: 51-62)

     

    FREE TO FOLLOW. In today’s Gospel Jesus resolutely takes the road to Jerusalem. He knows that his passion and death await him. We also need determination to follow Jesus along the way of the cross. At times we will be tempted to look for excuses to turn back. May the Lord free us from such temptations that we may journey with him through suffering and death to the glory of the resurrection.
