    Dear Deacon Dinh,

Every now and then we see people as God sees them.  When Jesus goes up the mountain he is bathed in God’s love.  The disciples not only see his brilliant transfiguration but are also transformed themselves.  Understandably, they want to pitch their tents and remain in the moment.  But our encounter of God’s love is meant to be shared in mission.  Like them, we must come down from the mountain to bring that light to those who find themselves in the dark.

    Prayer

Loving God, you brought forth all creation to share your love. During our Lenten Journey stir within us your passion for your creation and this amazing planet we call home. Help us to hear how You call each of us to be in right relationship with You, others, and all creation. Come Holy Spirit, and make us advocates of God’s creation. Amen.

Continue your Lenten Journey with our Reflection Guide for the 2nd of Sunday of Lent, and check out our other Lenten Resources, such as our Stations of the Cross.

Our monthly webinar featuring a Maryknoll missioner is accepting signups for the next one with Br. Loren Beaudry on March 17th.  He will share with us his work with Tanzanian schools to better teach learning disabled students.

    Peace,

Fr. Alfonso and the Maryknoll Mission Education Team
