MORNING PRAYER (Thursday 20th October 2022)

We pray for the care of children, the guidance of youth, the encouragement of young adults, the contentment of the middle aged, and the respect of the elderly.

We pray that the faith we share in Christ may draw people of all nations and cultures into unity.

We pray for the sick and for all who have asked for our prayers. We pray for those who have died recently and those whose anniversaries occur at this time. May God welcome them into the eternal kingdom and give them the reward of their faithful service.

Lord, our true help is from you, who never sleeps, guard us from evil in our going and coming, protect us in the shade of your out-stretched hand. Through Christ our Lord.
