    A REFLECTION (Mark 4: 35-41)

    CALMING THE STORM. When a storm blew up on the sea of Galilee, Jesus’ disciples feared that their boat would be swamped by the waves. But Jesus, who was with them, calmed the sea. At times we can feel that we are being swamped by various troubles. But Jesus is with us to protect us. Like the apostle Paul we are overwhelmed, not by storms and troubles, but by the love of God made visible in Christ Jesus.
