    MORNING PRAYER (Tuesday 17th January 2023)

    Dear Lord,

    We pray for Ukraine and other countries around the world ravaged by war including Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Mexico, Yemen, Israel, Myanmar, Lebanon.

    May the Spirit of love soften hardened hearts and lead governments to choose peace, not war and to work towards a truly humane society built on love and peace. 

    May we all commit ourselves courageously to justice, the rule of law and peace and standing at the side of those living with the atrocities of war.

    May we always be conscious of the importance of promoting peace in our families and our homes.

    Lord, hear us.           Lord, hear our prayer.
