MORNING PRAYER (Wednesday 12/06/2019)

God of Light, from whom every good gift comes, send your Spirit into our lives with the power of a mighty wind, and by the flame of your wisdom open the horizons of our minds, loosen our tongues to sing your praise beyond the power of speech, for without your Spirit we could never raise our voices in words of peace or announce the truth that Jesus is Lord.

In the presence of the One who Accepts, heals and renews I can be honest about the ways I have fallen short of the love I experience. How has the last day gone? How do I feel about the way I have responded interacted, opened myself? I share my feelings with the Lord.

MORNING PRAYER (Tuesday 11/06/2019)

Enlightening God, Pentecost is the day that you enlightened the minds of the disciples, by outpouring the Holy Spirit. God on this day we ask that you pour on us the fire which hovered over the disciples as tongues of flames that day to burn out the sadness within our hearts and make them glow with the light of hope and peace.

We ask this in Jesus’ name.
